Our perspective on money is all about stewardship and generosity. God calls us to be stewards, rather than owners, of the resources He gives us. Jesus taught us to be generous. We know that God will provide for the work He has called us to do. The funds are in the hands of His followers. Please pray about investing your money, time and skills into His Kingdom work through Immanuel Baptist Church!

As we pray and seek the Lord’s guidance in how and to what extent God would want us to be involved in our current Generations Capital Improvements project, there are considerations and opportunities that might affect our decision. There are three basic ways to give: (1) Current Gifts, (2) Delayed Gifts, and (3) Future Gifts. View the giving options to explore these three areas of giving.
This is the primary means of supporting the work of God through Immanuel. We operate under a “unified budget.” This means all our ministries collectively operate within one annual budget, based on prayer, planning, and the leadership of the Lord. We support missions efforts, ministries, operations, staff and debt service. All general tithes and offerings given are dedicated to this critical fund.
IMMANUEL ENDOWMENT FUND FOR MISSIONS & EVANGELISM:
Contributions to this fund are invested in an endowment to support future mission and evangelism work. Only the interest earned will be used for the fund’s purpose. It is overseen by a team of seven people in cooperation with our pastors. The primary contributions given to this fund are from large gifts, estates and trusts.
You may give offerings to be used for a specific ministry that we support or participate in; these gifts are placed in “designated funds” according to the wishes of the donor. Examples include our special missions and benevolence funds, Building Fund, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, memorials and honorariums. These contributions are not included in our general operating budget receipts, but rather are used only for the purpose designated.
