Grow Classes offer training in a wide variety of topics from financial stewardship to discipleship strategies. These classes are a great way to learn more about Jesus and His application in your everyday life.

This nine-week study teaches individuals God’s perspective of managing money and possessions. It will provide the practical applications of handling finances, and really gets to the heart of the matter. Topics include: God’s Part & Our Part; Debt, Honesty & Counsel; Generosity; Work; Saving & Investing; Crisis & Perspective; and Eternity.

This small group study DVD, Boundaries Revised, features Dr.’s Henry Cloud and John Townsend. They uncover the secrets to cultivating the habit of setting and maintaining healthy boundaries that provide the framework for rich, productive relationships.

What Every Christian Ought to Know: Solid Grounding for a Growing Faith provides participants with a well-organized, well-reasoned grasp of several topics. These topics include salvation, eternal security, prayer, the Holy Spirit, resisting temptation, finding God’s will, and the authority of the Bible as well as how to understand it better. This is a valuable resource for new Christians and young disciples, but also a suitable instructive for believers of all ages.

Women’s Studies

This class introduces 21 principles of a healthy single mom that are designed to lead each mom to live a life of purpose and meaning, focus and order, and balance and harmony. Join other single moms as we learn these life principles together.

Untold numbers of women today, including mature believers, are suffering from “failure to thrive,” a disease of the soul whose symptoms range from anxiety and worthlessness to boredom and a yearning for something more. This study guides you on a journey to fulfillment by providing tools to help you identify your unique gifts, passions, and God-given personality traits and helps lead you down the road to discovering your specific purpose in God’s greater plan.

In this DVD Bible study series through the Beatitudes, author Jennifer Kennedy Dean examines the promise of blessedness in Christ’s Sermon on the Mount. Unlike a circumstance-driven emotion, such as happiness, blessedness is eternal and grounded in the reality of Christ in you. It is only when we continually pursue holiness that blessedness comes, and we discover the power and fulfillment of the promise of God.

Pastor for Discipleship & Missions

Mark Carter was born and raised here at Immanuel. He and his wife, Laura, have quadruplets, Michael, Katherine, Leslie and Ashley. Mark received a B.A. in Business Administration from Baylor University. As Associate Pastor for Business Administration, Mark manages our church operations and finances and also provides leadership for the church’s discipleship process. God has given Mark a passion for missional business, making reproducible disciples, marketplace ministry, and cross-cultural missions.

Traci Hogue

Director of Women’s Ministry

Traci Hogue joined Immanuel in 1994, and joined the staff in 2004. She and her husband, Michael, have three daughters, Katelyn, Caroline, and Kennedy. Traci received a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Arkansas in 1992. Traci wants to meet ladies right where they are and come alongside them – encouraging, supporting, praying and equipping them in their journey with God. She encourages women to grow in their relationship with Christ and one another through small groups, prayer meetings, fellowships, mentoring, and service opportunities.
