In addition to meeting for Sunday morning Bible study led by Mark Miller, members participate in a variety of missions projects that support the objectives of the Immanuel missions GO Teams.

This fellowship includes business and professional men and sports enthusiasts who love the Lord, care and pray for each other and enjoy line-by-line expository study of the books of the Bible.

Women from all walks of life gather in this class to share God’s Word, grace and love with one another. They laugh, cry and learn together that He is faithful to the end.

Men, 50’s & 60’s
Established more than 40 years ago, the Johnson Class encourages men to develop a close walk with Christ as they respond to responsibilities in family and business relationships. Through weekly Bible study, members find fellowship and reinforcement of Christian principles in developing family leadership roles.

Commitment to studying the Bible is the bedrock of this class, where anyone who wants to learn God’s Word is welcome. Several fellowships and activities are planned during the year, including monthly Sunday evening Bible studies.

This class offers members the opportunity to explore the Bible with an emphasis on seeking God’s leadership in their roles as wives, mothers, friends, caregivers and workers.

Leaders offer a variety of teaching styles, but the class always enjoys some discussion during Bible study.
Family Ministries Pastor
Phil Spigner joined Immanuel in 1990. He and his wife, Wanda, have two sons, Brian (wife Kristen) and Ross (wife Caroline). Phil received a B.S. in church ministry from Mississippi College and a Master of Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. As Family Ministries Pastor, Phil takes care of our Senior Adults by planning various activities throughout the year and helps our members grow and fulfill their call to serve Jesus Christ. He also oversees our Built 4:2 Marriage Ministry and Home 22:6 Parenting Ministry. The desire of Phil’s heart is to be God’s man no matter what task the day may bring, big or small, to be able to do it for the Lord.
