On Sunday mornings our children attend worship with their parents and participate in age-graded, small group classes. In these classes, adult leaders teach The Gospel Project Curriculum, which immerses kids in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project® for Kids, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.
Wednesday Nights – The Zone
Wednesday nights during the school year, children are invited to participate in The Zone. Here they explore and participate in worship, and learn about how we fulfill the Great Commission to get the gospel to the ends of the earth.
The Zone begins at 5:30 pm with a kid-friendly dinner (cost $3/child). Check-In at the North Entrance. Then, from 6:00-7:30 pm the kids rotate to different activities including Music, Missions and Recreation. The Zone activities occur from September through May. The Zone is a high-energy experience for children in 1st through 5th grades that includes:
Fun, Meaningful Worship
Games & activities designed to connect kids with each other
Growing in God’s Word
Hands-on, relevant missions that challenge kids to GO take the Gospel to their friends & the world
During the month of January, kids at The Zone will be preparing gifts for our Immanuel Homebound members. We are asking families to sign up to bring these gifts to a homebound member after church on Sunday, February 4th. You will sign up as a family and be contacted with which Homebound Member you are assigned and their information. You will pick up the gift Sunday morning, February 4th and deliver it between 12:00-2:00 pm. This is a great way to show Christ’s love to some of our faithful church members. If you would like your family to be part of this ministry outreach opportunity, sign up here!

She and her husband, Adam, have the privilege of raising two sons, Beau and Rigby. She has served in various ministries in church including college, youth and missions ministries. She became a Christian at age 8, and one of her biggest influences was growing up with her father in Campus Ministry at LSU where her heart for the Lord, missions and people grew. As Director of Children’s Ministry she oversees all aspects of ministry to children in 1st-5th grades. She considers it a privilege and a joy to help children and families at Immanuel serve and grow in the Lord.
