Our Mission

To partner with parents and adult volunteers in leading students to be and build reproducing disciples of Christ who worship God, connect with others, grow in His Word, and go take the Gospel to our world.

SERVE
One Church. Many Parts. One Heart.

What to Expect

Our high school ministry is made up of 9th-12th grade students from around 20 local public, private, charter, and home schools. The largest school makes up less than 15% of our high school involvement, so we are a very diverse group. Come expecting to be changed through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word, cared for by dozens of devoted adult volunteers, connected to peers who faithfully walk with Jesus and strive to spread His Gospel to the ends of the earth, and challenged to serve in our church, community, and around the world so that all might know the goodness and grace of Jesus Christ.

Each week, high school students have the opportunity to learn God’s Word through grade-based, co-ed Sunday School classes at 9:00 am or gender-divided classes at 10:30 am led by the greatest adult volunteers on the planet. High schoolers can also choose to be a part of more in-depth grade-based, gender-divided D Groups for more intentional, long-term discipleship. Each week on Wednesday nights, high school and middle school students gather together for a meal at Tops Cafe from 6:00-6:30 pm, and the meal costs $3. Then we have combined student worship in The Spot from 6:30-6:50 pm. Following worship at 6:55-7:30 pm, high school students will move to the Chapel for faithful and relevant preaching from God’s Word by our Lead Student Pastor.

Throughout the year we also have a number of events that high schoolers can be a part of like: DNOW, Fused Fall Retreat, Summer GO Trips, Guys Retreat, Student Takeover, etc.

What to Expect

Parents have the greatest influence in the lives of students, bar-none. God has uniquely and specifically gifted parents to speak, model, and train their children in the ways of the Lord. Parents are the primary disciplers of their children. It is our desire to come alongside parents to better equip you to disciple your children and bring them up in the way of the Lord so that, as Proverbs 22:6 says, “when whey are grown they will not depart from it.”

Each week parents have the opportunity to learn God’s Word through couples Sunday School classes at 9:00 & 10:30 am. In the Fall and Winter/Spring semesters, parents can also choose to be a part of a number of Grow classes including some specifically geared towards parents. We also host an annual marriage and/or parenting conference.

Home 22:6 Parenting Ministry

Each year on your student’s birthday you will receive discipleship resources specifically for your student’s age. The five areas we highlight in our Home 22:6 strategy are Parent Dedication, Blessing Your Child, God Centered Family Time, Church Community, and Discipling As You Go, which will give you insights for discipling your children. As a parent, you can’t control when your children will surrender their lives to the Lord and experience salvation, but you can help to shape and mold their heart as they grow physically, emotionally and spiritually. As you disciple your children, teaching them the importance of worshiping God, connecting with others, growing in God’s Word, and going to take the Gospel to our world needs to be central. As your children grow in their faith, it is important to teach them how to live out the fruit of the Spirit, not so they may earn their salvation, but because the Spirit of Christ is in us! The gospel of grace is the key that you must always point your children back to. We love God because He first loved us.

Built 4:2 Marriage Ministry

Scripture teaches that we each have a biblical role in marriage, just like when riding a tandem bicycle, both people have a different but equally important role. The path to a Christ-centered marriage begins with knowing your unique roles as husband and wife. Built 4:2 is designed to help you focus on five key areas of marriage: Dedication to Your Spouse and to Christ, Blessing Your Spouse, God-centered Time with Your Spouse, Community, and As You Go.
